Patrick Zimmerli has become a living definition of “new music.” With his outstanding combination of classical and jazz music, he is in demand as a composer by world-renowned chamber groups, music festivals, and orchestras. Patrick’s works are widely recorded--- on Arabesque, Blue Notes, Antilles, Jazz City and Naïve labels---and he has written extensively for radio, TV and film. He teaches at Columbia University, from which he earned his undergraduate and doctoral degrees.
