“Viola soloist Brett Deubner brought needed depth to the more ruminating cadenzas."The Philadelphia Inquirer

"In my career as Principal Oboe of the New York Philharmonic, I have had several opportunities to perform Charles Loefflers marvelous Rhapsodies for Oboe, Viola and Piano, most recently and most happily with violist Brett Deubner. His ensemble instincts were uncanny. No collaborator in my experience has performed the Loeffler better”  Joseph Robinson-Principal Oboe NY Philharmonic
